Throughout the third quarter of 2023, the top consumer finance apps on Android in Brazil showcased notable trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a breakdown of their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Nubank: conta, cartão e mais experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 798K in mid-September. The app maintained a strong presence with active users steadily growing from 35.4M at the start of the quarter to around 38.2M by the end of September.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix also saw a consistent rise in downloads, reaching a high of 416K in the week of August 21. Active users, however, exhibited some fluctuation, starting at 11.3M, dipping slightly mid-quarter, and ending at about 11.4M.

CAIXA showed a more stable trend in downloads, hovering around the 200K mark throughout the quarter. Active users had a slight decline from 11.1M in late June to approximately 10.4M by the end of September.

Banco will: Cartão de crédito maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 229K in late July. The app's active users saw a gradual increase, reaching around 3.5M by the end of the quarter.
